When was Babyletto founded?
With contemporary designs and a focus on style, Babyletto delights in offering nursery pieces that are both fun and functional. Established in 2010, Babyletto was created to open your heart and spark your creativity.
Where did the inspiration for Babyletto originate?
Think back to those special moments when you picked up your first crayon, read your first book, or sat on your first set of swings; our goal is to capture that feeling of unbridled delight with Babyletto.
Drawing inspiration from childhood moments close to our hearts, they aim to create products that will channel that same open imagination when you build your nursery.
Babyletto wants to recapture that honesty and imagination, while building on our foundation of impeccable quality and safety.
COMMITMENT TO SAFETY
Babyletto's top priority is your child's safety. They surpass USA safety standards to provide you with the highest quality products possible.
Full-size cribs are JPMA-certified, and all of our furniture meets voluntary ASTM standards in addition to CPSC regulations
GREENGUARD Gold Certified
Full-size cribs are GREENGUARD Gold Certified. GREENGUARD Certified products help reduce indoor air pollution and chemical exposure.
Tested for over 10,000 chemicals, our cribs are certified as low-emitting and healthier for indoor environments.
WHY IS INDOOR AIR QUALITY IMPORTANT?
Air pollution levels are 2-5 times higher indoors than outdoors
Indoor spaces are often filled with volatile organic compounds (VOCs), chemicals that are released into the air from everyday products such as furniture.
People spend 90% of their time indoors
Once airborne, VOCs are inhaled by occupants. As a result, people receive over 70% of their environmental exposure to chemicals indoors.
Poor indoor air quality can impact your health
Asthma, allergies, respiratory disease, eye/nose/throat irritation, reproductive/developmental defects, neurological disease, cardiovascular disease, and some forms of cancer have all been linked to poor indoor air quality.
WHAT DOES GREENGUARD GOLD CERTIFICATION MEAN?
Low-emitting
GREENGUARD Gold Certified products are compliant with stringent emission levels for over 360 VOCs, plus a limit on the total of all chemical emissions combined (TVOC).
Independently tested
Products are tested for more than 10,000 chemicals in state-of-the art steel chambers. All testing procedures comply with applicable STM and ISO standards. Products undergo annual testing to remain certified.
Safer for children
GREENGUARD Gold Certification includes safety factors to account for sensitive individuals, such as children and the elderly. GREENGUARD Gold helps ensure products are acceptable for use in environments such as schools and healthcare facilities
JPMA Certified
Both brands’ full-size cribs and toddler beds are JPMA certified. JPMA works with consumers and the US Consumer Product Safety Commission to develop product-specific safety
standards under ASTM International. Their mission is to help parents be confident that their juvenile products are built with baby safety in mind.
WHAT DOES JPMA CERTIFICATION MEAN?
Tested to the highest standards
JPMA certified products must pass the rigorous testing of the appropriate ASTM standard, and additional federal, state, and other requirements as outlined in the JPMA Protocols.
Annually tested
After JPMA-certification, our full-size crib models are tested annually to adhere to all guidelines and remain active participants of the JPMA Certification Program.
